Well guess what???

We (my family) got word that Cort gets to come home on June 25th. So this means I have to Hurry and put up the 3 month countdown because the next two numbers are going to come quickly. I am soooo excited he is coming home a couple of weeks early. The only thing I have to figure out now is the 25th is one of the days of my MS150 bike ride. Hmmmm...I have to figure something out.

A camping we will go....

Caleb and I have been looking at getting a camp trailer. We have talked about getting one for a couple of years now. We have always camped in a tent. There is nothing wrong with our tent but I am looking for convenience. We normally spend a good amount of time trying to pack for a weekend camp out, and I hate it. Having a home on wheels will be great. Clothes and food will be the only things needed to grab and go. It will also making camping with a little guy a lot easier. (Planning ahead for when he is home.) Being our first camper we didn't hold back. This thing is huge. We went and looked at a bunch of them before deciding on this one. We liked the separate bedroom, the open living space and the outdoor kitchen. It has everything we want plus some. ** I almost typed it has everything we need...ha ha who needs an AC, Heater, running water or TV while camping? That's right, this girl. I think this is the first time I have ever been excited about camping. WooHoo. Maybe I can sweet talk my parents into coming camping with us. This would be the first time they have ever camped. I will keep you posted on that challenge. Here are a couple of pictures of our home on wheels.

A new toy for us to enjoy

Almost two weeks ago while we were out running errands we decided to go look at camp trailers. We have been talking about getting one for a while. After going and looking at a few we wanted to move forward with getting one. The only problem is the one we like is a little bigger than either of our vehicles can tow. So do we keep looking to find a smaller one? No. On our way home we decided to stop at a dealership. (Earlier that morning Caleb and I were talking about the couple of changes/upgrades he wanted to make to his truck. This before we ever decided to look at trailers.) When we pulled into the parking spot Caleb pointed at a truck and said if he were to get a new one this is what he wants it to look like. Of course the truck is in the front on display and it looked amazing. I swear there was a glow around it as angels were singing..ok not really. I am sure dollar signs were flashing in my eyes. We met a salesman and walked down to the trucks on the lot. We looked at a couple that were pretty stock with a few upgrades here and there. We told him we didn't want to test drive anything we were just trying to get ideas. He was a new salesman so when Caleb asked for a card he went inside to grab a piece of paper to write his info down. Out walks another salesman and he asked if we had looked at the amazing truck on display. Nope...not looking to buy. Next thing you know we are on the freeway test driving "The Truck". We ended up taking it home to see if it would fit in the garage. Let me just say....it fit.

This truck has everything in it. It's has a huge lift with 35's, 3 DVD players with a built in game system, an amazing sound system, reclining back seats...the list goes on and on. The thing that makes me most excited about it is...how much Caleb deserves it. He works so hard to provide and take care of us. He is an amazing man and now has an amazing truck.

First Date....

13 Years ago today Caleb and I went on our first date. Oh how I loved him then and how my love for him has continued to grow. He is such a great person, husband, friend, brother and son. For those of us who get to have him in our lives are truly blessed. It has been 13 years since we first held hands, held each other on the dance floor and kissed each other goodnight. Who knew that 13 years ago my life would change and become something amazing? Not me, but I am soooo thankful he chose me to be his date.
