Since we have been back from our vacation we have been really busy. The last two weeks have flown by. We have both been working and going to school. As of yesterday my youngest brother Cortney only has 13 days until he leaves for his mission. Since we have been home I tend to just start crying at random points throughout the day. He is making the right choice for himself and our family. He quit work just over a week ago so that he can start getting everything in order before he leaves. This Sunday he is giving a talk in church and having people over to my parents house after. I know that he will do well. He went through the Salt Lake Temple yesterday. I took a few pictures so that we can all remember this day.

Our Trip to Grand Cayman
Caleb and I just got back from our vacation to the Grand Cayman Island. We had a week long vacation on a tropical island, it does not get better than that. We took over 500 pictures on our trip. I am only going to post a few otherwise this blog would be overloaded. We stayed at a beautiful resort on the East side of the island. Here is a view from our condo. This is what we woke up to every morning.
One of the days we decided to do the Cayman in a Nutshell tour. It was worth every dollar spent. We went swimming with sting ray's. Here is one of the pictures from that part. I was terrified to stay in the water with them just ask Caleb and my family members. The water was only waist deep and warm like a bathtub. It took a boat ride out to the middle of the ocean. It might not look very big in this picture but they were huge, believe me.

Our tour guide on this trip stopped the boat and dove into the water. He brought up two star fish. I have no idea how he even saw them. The water was crystal clear and I guess he knows what he is looking for. Here is one of them he let us hold.

The next stop on this tour was a trip to Hell. There is a town on this island called Hell and the man who greets the visitors and checks them out at the cash register is dressed up like the Devil. I bought a post card and a sicker that says "I've been to hell and back". I had to buy them both. Here is a picture of the visitors center in Hell.
We also went to the Turtle Farm. We each got the chance to hold a turtle. Caleb handled this like a pro just like the Sting rays. I held one even though I was a little hesitant. The guide chose me to hold the first one. I had to be brave as there were two little girls standing in front of me looking at me with disgust that I was so scared. Here is a picture of Caleb and the turtle.
After this tour was over we stopped and ate lunch out on the dock of a little restaurant. I took one look at the water and I ran down to get in. At first no one wanted to come out with me. One by one Laura (Bud's girlfriend), Caleb and Bud all came out to join me. I do not know why they had to even think twice about coming in, especially after looking at the picture below.
We also went on a night submarine dive. We forgot our camera but both Bud and Laura had theirs. So As I get pictures of them I will update the blog and post them. We did a little bit of shopping in George Town. We spent most of our time snorkeling, playing on the beach or swimming in the pool. Here are a few other pictures from our trip that I wanted to post.

It has been a couple of weeks since my last post. I cannot believe that we leave tomorrow for Grand Cayman. 112 days has come and gone so quickly. I want the next week to be the longest week of my life. that would make for a great vacation. I have been trying to convince my parents, brother and his girlfriend to do carry on luggage only.
We had a busy Memorial weekend. Paint balling, a comedy club and a BBQ just to name a couple of things we did. This last week I finished another class. I only have three classes left and I cannot wait. Caleb is taking two classes this Summer. Both are some type of computer classes. Both should be easy classes for him which is great because it get's him that much closer to being done.
My brother Cortney has about 30 days until he leaves. He is counting down the days. I told him that we do not count down for this. Count downs are only used for good things like vacations and Christmas. I know this is a good thing for all of us but I am not looking forward to the day he leaves so the last thing I want to do is count down to that day.

Thoughts
I posted a while back about P90X. Well that is just plain not happening for me. Caleb and I have been going for walks and I decided that we should start playing Frisbee. We went last weekend and bought a Frisbee and have played a couple of times in the backyard. I have been enjoying this time with Caleb. I am sure he would like to play with someone who is good but I'm not going anywhere so he will just have to adjust to running around to catch whatever I throw his way.
I am getting more and more antsy about our vacation that is less than 3 weeks away. Is it to early to start packing? For those people that know me, know that I would love to start packing.
I feel like everything I am doing is soooo dis-organized lately. I have talked about my relationship with the couch in the past. I think it is getting in the way of things I should really be getting done. I thought about this as I sat on the couch and watched the biggest loser finale for three hours last night. If I keep this relationship up I may end up on that show.

Update
Mother's Day-
Today is mother's day and the day went really well. We spent time with both of our mothers. My sister-n-law decided she wanted to practice doing gel toenails. So all of us girls decided to let her practice away. After choosing a Flamingo pink I have realized a need a tan to mach it. Our vacation is coming up which will resolve my dilemma.
Caleb-
Caleb just finished a semester of school. He is excited to have these classes behind him. I am so proud of him not only for what he has accomplished, but what he has his mind set on to still achieve.
Yard Work-
On Friday Caleb and I had a note on our front door. It was for two 14 year old boys looking to earn some money. They will walk dogs, mow lawns and pull weeds. Caleb and I looked at each other and well, I am going to call them and see if they want to earn money pulling weeds. Caleb enjoys yard work and I enjoy the yard. With both of us being in school we do not like to waste the time we have together. This could save us a lot of time, blisters on our hands and back aches. The only con I can see is missing out on the matching farmers tans. Do the pros outweigh the cons? Let's just say I will be making a phone call this week.

School update
I am sitting in a class that just started tonight. I only have four classes left until I have my degree. The fact that I can count the rest of my classes on one hand is great. I am so excited and looking forward for this step in my life to be done. I soon will have to look and figure out what school is next. I would like to start my next adventure in Jan. 2010. I am sure I will post more on my school thoughts in the future.

Update
It has been a few weeks since my last update on what's going on in our lives. We celebrated our Wedding anniversary on the 20th. It has been 8 years which means we have been together for 11 years. Things could not be better. I love Caleb with all of my heart and I grow more and more proud of him and us everyday.
My youngest brother Cortney got his mission call last week. He is going to Louisville, Kentucky. He leaves for the MTC on July, 1st. I am so excited for him and the choice he is making. July 1st is less than 60 days away. I know that time is going to come and go so quickly. I am so thankful that we work for the same company. This is great for me to get to see him and spend a little extra time with him. Caleb has already looked at how far away he will me. Luckily for me it is only about 23 hours driving distance away. (I think that is going to become a new vacation hot spot for Caleb and me.)
I had my one month follow up eye appointment on Friday. Everything is looking good. I am at 20/25 which I couldn't be happier about the results. I refer to the results as in seeing everything in HD. Everything is so crisp.
Caleb's brother and sister-n-law finally had our nephew Saturday morning. I am so excited for them. Once I have a picture I will post it. My sister-n-law was in labor for almost 24 hours but it was worth it. Braxton was almost 10 pounds and 21 inches long. Congrats.
